NEWS > VALID launches NHS invoice authorisation system for over 1,000 users

VALID together with its partner B-Plan Information Systems, are implementing an invoice authorisation system at Kings Healthcare NHS Trust, in London.

The system allows 1,000 users around Kings offices to authorise invoices without the paper ever leaving their central purchasing department. Invoices are scanned centrally and automatically sent, via Workflow, to the purchaser to allow them to confirm delivery and check that all purchasing criteria have been fulfilled.

The system can also check that any purchaser is not exceeding their individual order and cumulative purchasing limits. B-Plan, who recently collected the Deloitte and Touche Fast 50 award for growth, has more than 250 users in Healthcare and the Police.

Valid's V9 product is linked directly into B Plan's financial and information systems, permitting compliance with the lastest e-Government legislation.
