VALID has recently added a user workflow design toolkit to its core product R/KYV v9, the integrated electronic document and records management solution. The new component is designed to allow both non-IT business managers and IT staff to write comprehensive document-based business processes easily and effectively.

The component comprises a graphical tool that enables non-IT business managers to design business processes to suit their individual needs. Using a drag and drop interface, as well as a wizard, writing workflows has never been easier. It's now simply a question of moving images around the screen.

The coding option has also been made easier by including both a R/KYVBasic and JavaScript editor, as well as links to databases stored within R/KYV v9. This means that the code can be previewed and checked, and information and metadata automatically selected from existing databases to reduce the likelihood of human error
