Valid partners with SCC for first Scottish deal

Valid Information Systems is pleased to announce its first Scottish sale to Stirling Council. In a five year deal worth over £500,000, Valid partnered for the first time with G-Cat listed solutions integrator, SCC, to help provide the corporate ICT infrastructure to this top performing unitary council. Stirling chose Valid's enterprise-wide document and records management system, R/KYV, following 18 months research as it was the only system to fully satisfy all the council's e-Government requirements, including Best Value whereby under the Local Government (Scotland) Act 2003 councils must demonstrate continuous improvement.

Stirling Council is one of 32 councils with unitary status. The council has approximately 3,500 employees serving a population of over 85,000 citizens.
