is provided via a number of protocols including ODBC, JDBC, SOAP,
e-GIF and XML.
By providing a common interface to access all forms
of information, including images, word processing documents, spreadsheets,
e-mail, and physical media such as compact disks and videos, R/KYV
v9 provides an automated system that removes the complexities
of record management, while ensuring total integration with back
end processes.
Key to R/KYV's success is its tight integration with
a number of GIS systems to provide another level of pinpoint search
capabilities. That includes identifying a property and pulling up
all records relating to that property and citizens residing within
that area.
R/KYV v9 enables the creation of Legal and
secure joined-up solutions, an essential part of the e-Government
strategy. By incorporating Records Management you can share information
over the Internet such as via a citizen-portal while at the same
time abiding by the laws concerning Privacy, Data Protection and
Freedom of Information.
This type of solution involving agencies such as Police,
Social Services and Health Departments represents the way forward
for all public sector services as it both cuts costs and improves
the provision of services to the public.
